Legends Never Die—Project Dream to Revive Sega Dreamcast

The Sega Dreamcast may be the most beloved console of all time despite it’s incredibly short lifespan. To hear someone talk about it, you’d think it was the greatest console ever made, and in some respects it was—just no one was paying attention at the time. What about now? Would today’s video game consumers approach the Sega Dreamcast and all of it’s amazing titles differently if the system relaunched with support for modern displays, ethernet, and a new user interface? That’s what the developers behind Project Dream are hoping to do with a proposal to Sega to revive the Dreamcast. Continue reading Legends Never Die—Project Dream to Revive Sega Dreamcast

Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack 2 Gameplay Trailer Blows Mind, Shatters Reality!

A new gameplay trailer of Mortal Kombat X’s Kombat Pack 2 was released today and to say I’m excited would be an understatement. Christmas? Meh. New Years? Meh. Leatherface, Triborg, Bo’ Rai Cho, and (I can’t believe it’s actually real!) Alien? An overwhelming yes!

Watch the trailer above for yourself and leave me a comment below about what you think of this next batch of DLC coming to Mortal Kombat X!

Epic Game Deals—Destiny: The Taken King for $29.99

Amazon is selling Destiny: The Taken King – Legendary Edition today only for the sweet price of $29.99. If you’re like me and have been holding out for a good great deal before picking up Destiny then now might be the time. The Taken King includes the core game, expansion 1 & 2, and of course the new adventure The Taken King. This is one of those few times I can pat myself on the back for not purchasing this game and all it’s content when it originally came out and enjoy it all for a fraction of the price. Looking forward to some Sparrow Racing League this Christmas!

PSX 2015 Keynote Gripes

Last weekend Sony hosted their 2nd annual Playstation Experience (PSX) event in San Francisco to thousands of attendees. I was lucky enough to be able to make the trip over to San Francisco to attend. What would Sony unveil during their keynote on Saturday? Would they discuss backwards compatibly with the PS2? Would Sony’s flagship series God of War finally get an announcement for it’s fourth installment? After queuing in line for nearly two hours along with countless others, I sat down to listen to just what Sony had in store for us. Continue reading PSX 2015 Keynote Gripes
